_meeting place: origin meets destination
for this weeks project i'm looking at the meeting place 'origin meets destination'.
from this i have decided to create the space within the boatshed site of a 'boat terminal', or rather just a port for travellers to enter and exit. I was intrigued about the design of airports worldwide, with their exaggerated terminal designs and never ending use of concrete. also with regards to the pattern and symmetry that is created from the endless rows of airbridges that connect passenger to terminal and visa versa.
